The Penguin Walk!

Quick Friday post! 
Today I’m taking part in the annual Penguin Walk, (sadly no we don’t walk like penguins, which is highly disappointing!!) It’s a 10 mile walk across London for charity. This year I’m excited to announce that Mind is our charity of choice. I cannot tell you how delighted I am that its been chosen. Around three months ago everyone in the company was given the opportunity nominate their charity of choice. I naturally chose Mind and lots of other colleagues obviously did the same thing because it won! This is so encouraging as it proves that attitudes have changed rapidly in the last ten years.
http://www.mind.org.uk/ is a fantastic charity that strives to ensure; that no one has to face a mental health problem alone. I’m a big believer in this statement. The main reason that I write this blog is to help others realise that they’re NOT alone. As long as I’m still breathing, then you’ll never be alone. (Sounds cheesy, but I really mean that.)

Now I won’t lie to you.. it’s hot outside today, so I might stop for a few cheeky glasses of Prosecco along the way. But I shall finish the walk with pride… even if I’m attacked by Miley Cyrus, fall into a bit of ants, or taken hostage by a gang of local munchkins.
